'Usually I'm like a ten to fifteen product gal,' shares Industry actor and the star of ELLE UK's latest episode of '5 In 5', Myha'la Herrold. 'I'm obsessed with skincare and I love trying new things.'
Luckily for us, Herrold has a pared back version of her regular extensive regime that features just five essentials. First up, of course, is a cow print towel headband that's part Minnie Mouse, part millennial, entirely adorable. 'Ok, let's get into it. First of all, headband - necessary.' With just two nose rings to punctuate her make-up and eyebrow-free face, Herrold's skin is enviably flawless - so much so that we're already preparing to *add to basket* anything the 26-year-old recommends.
As any good skincare obsessive will know, finding the right product is serious business. Speaking on her own go-to Biologique Recherche cleanser, the California native shared her feelings on finding 'the one'. 'This is a holy grail product for me and I use it religiously twice a day.'
When it comes to the rest of Herrold's routine, Korean skincare, French pharmacy brands, fragrance-free serums and face massage are all key. 'This almost doesn't have any fragrance. That's also really important in skincare because fragrance is oftentimes aggressive on the skin.'
Even her application technique is next level. 'I'm just gonna pat this on, don't forget the neck, the neck always needs some love,' says Herrold. 'The pressing and the patting is actually a life saver - when I started doing it I noticed I had a lot less irritation, particularly in the places where I've had acne, or scarring because I can't stop picking. So pressing and patting instead of rubbing has been great for me.'

'This is really nice, it's really lightweight and super silky. I don't use much at all and my skin really soaks it up.'
'I was put onto this when I did a little stint in LA by a fabulous make-up artist named Leslie. She was like, "This is what we use on models for fashion week" and I quite literally have not stopped using it since.'
