'I feel like I'm on an infomercial,' laughs Laura Harrier coyly, whilst on set shooting the latest episode of ELLE UK's '5 In 5'. Despite starring alongside Tom Holland in Marvel's blockbuster hit, Spider-Man: Homecoming, playing a budding old Hollywood starlet in Ryan Murphy's aptly named Hollywood, and landing a role as the face of BOSS The Scent, it's talking through her five essential beauty products that's got the actor feeling endearingly bashful.
Endearingly bashful, and refreshingly honest. 'Obviously I have a full face of make-up on right now,' Harrier happily admits before letting us in on her top tip for using her go-to Elaluz Lip & Cheek Stain. 'I just dab it on and blend it out and then put a bit on my cheeks and I'm ready to go. It just makes you look really alive and fresh and pretty.'
Next on Harrier's beauty hit list is her must-have highlighter stick recommended by A-list make-up artist Nina Park ('I blend it in with my fingers for a little bit of light and highlight. I also love wearing this when I have no make-up on.'), the internet's favourite moisturiser, Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream ('I also really love the body cream, sidenote!'), and Olaplex's No.7 Bonding Oil complete with the 31-year-old's ideal packaging. 'You know how sometimes you use hair oil and there's so much that comes out? Then your hair is soaking wet and you have to go take a shower again and it's a whole thing? This gives you just a tiny dot of oil which I think is really smart.'
Completing the Chicago native's super speedy beauty routine is a spritz of BOSS The Scent, of course. 'It smells really fresh but sexy at the same time so I wear it first thing in the morning everyday and also out at night for more of a vibe.'
