From encouraging us to love our 'imperfectly perfect' curves and erasing 'body blame' from our language, to explaining how to turn way from self-hate to self-love, it's safe to say model Iskra Lawrence is a fountain of wisdom when it comes to body positivity.

So, if you woke up this morning feeling guilty about eating that extra slice of lasagne from the night before, or took a deep breath in while trying on clothes for work in a bid to appear more slim, it's time you looked to the 26-year-old model's latest Instagram post for a much-needed confidence boost and reality check.

Last night, the British-born beauty posted a photograph of herself during a photoshoot on the beach at Santa Monica Pier, and revealed she's finally learned to love her legs after years of insecurities.

Wearing denim shorts and a white halter-neck top, the model captioned the snap: 'Grateful I don't hate my legs anymore grateful I see their strength and appreciate my bodies capabilities.'

The New York-based star also took the opportunity to thank paparazzi shots (a rarity in Hollywood, we might add) for publishing pictures of her without photoshopping her into an unrealistic idea of 'perfect'.

'Also I realise I'm highly privileged but damn I love seeing pap pics that aren't retouched and some of those [lightning bolts] and [tiger stripes]', referring to her stretch marks.

Let this be a lesson to anyone today who is feeling negative towards their bodies right now.

Your body is yours to love and celebrate.
