Kim Kardashian West and Blake Lively are two A-listers with distinctly different style, but this weekend, they both wore very similar dresses to Versace's first-ever show in New York City. The reality star and the actress both looked festive in silver chainmail dresses – and made a case for them being a big hit this party season.
Kardashian West's sparkly look featured a draped neckline and a short hemline. She teamed the frock with clear plastic Yeezy heels and wore her hair in a high 'snatched' ponytail with plenty of glam make-up.
Lively's look was very similar in that it was also a silver chainmail dress by Versace, however her outfit featured a higher neckline, a mullet hem and cut-out detail with a butterfly embellishment on the back. She wore her hair in huge curls and added big earrings and glittery court shoes to the look.

The metallic chainmail style is distinctive of '90s Versace and was recently celebrated in the spring/summer 2018 collection, which was a tribute to Donatella's late brother and founder of the house, Gianni. He was known for using the dazzling metal mesh throughout his designs.
Kardashian West's ensemble is also extremely reminiscent of the now infamous dress that Paris Hilton wore to her 21st birthday party, a look which was recreated by Kendall Jenner years later when she celebrated the same milestone birthday.
