Marc Jacobs tied the knot in New York on Saturday with his boyfriend Charly 'Char' Defrancesco, and the reception was an event that will surely go down in the record books for celebrity weddings. The celebration included tuxedo'd dancers, a five-tiered cake, an A-list gathering of guests, and vape pen party favours. But perhaps most notably, Bella and Gigi Hadid won the night with their wedding attire.

A special mention should go to Gigi, who wore a fedora and olive green suit with a sheer, sparkly top that was altogether business casual and formal. Bella looked dapper-chic in a plunging black top and long black jacket.

They held hands as they left the reception together late Saturday night:

The two took a note of sorts from Cara Delevingne, who wore a suit and top hat to the royal wedding between Kate Middleton and Prince Harry. In that case, Delvingne texted the bride, Princess Eugenie, for permission to break the royal dress code at the wedding. Gigi's untraditional wedding outfit was likely welcomed by Jacobs and his new husband, who embraced their own unique traditions at their wedding.

For example, a group of dancers did an elaborately choreographed number to reveal the tall, five-tiered cake at the top of a long staircase. Gigi and Bella fit right in with their choice of suits.

This was a big week for Gigi, who also attended and was honoured at Variety's Power of Women event this week in a powder blue jumpsuit and matching cape.

During her speech, Gigi highlighted her work with UNICEF and what it had taught her as an activist.

'We can get so stuck in our own heads, and our own worlds can feel very overwhelming at times, but most of us have the true gift of identity, and the power to express ourselves, the power to speak out for those who cannot for themselves, and the power to uplift one another.'
