Never a wallflower, Miley Cyrus proved her pop star status at the 2024 Grammy Awards last night by wearing no less than four high fashion, showgirl-worthy looks.

Often opting for more vampy, rock-and-roll referencing looks, the 31-year-old changed pace for the evening, and kicked off the night in a custom-made, gold Margiela dress which she paired with De Beers jewellery.

Hot off the success of the French fashion house's viral couture 2024 collection by John Galliano (featuring that wobbly cat walk and wet look make-up), dressing one of the stars of the night made perfect sense.

Cyrus then went on to win not one, but two Grammy Awards, accepting the award for Best Solo Performance from Mariah Carey and Record of the Year from 'in-law goals' Meryl Streep and Mark Ronson.

Cyrus wore two sequinned, outfits for the honours, one custom-made Gucci, asymmetric gown in a bronze hue, and another Tom Ford halterneck design in black.

The singer then celebrated her wins with a performance of her now Grammy-award winning song 'Flowers' in a vintage Bob Mackie dress. Featuring a bralette top and fringed skirt, the dress felt like the perfect design to honour her history-making moment on the stage.

The designer of choice for Cher, as well as Diana Ross, Tina Turner and Cyrus' own godmother Dolly Parton, fashion designer Mackie was known for his scene stealing, stage worthy ensembles that were something of the original 'naked dresses'.
