The terms 'bad' and 'outfit' simply aren't phrases that one can associate with Zendaya – and the Dune: Part Two A-lister proved yet again why she's the queen of the red carpet at the 96th Oscars.

The 27-year-old turned up to the 2024 awards ceremony in Los Angeles in an alluring one-shoulder pale-rose Armani Privé gown with a sculptural twist on the strap and a figure-hugging bodice which flared out elegantly. The highlight of the silk gown was the silver print detailing across the bust and emblazoned across the sophisticated couture number.

Allowing the dress to receive its well-deserved shine, Zendaya kept her hair minimal, opting for a bob with a slight upturned flick and a slick of pink lipstick and inner-corner eyeshadow.

Tonight marks one of many incredible red carpet moments for the Hollywood starlet throughout the last few weeks. Last night, Zendaya attended an Oscars pre-dinner hosted by Louis Vuitton in an enchanting slate-grey pre-fall 2018 halter-neck dress with black belting. Days prior, she made an appearance at the Essence Black Women In Hollywood event in an SS20 Jean Paul Gaultier outfit. For fashion enthusiasts, it marked another moment for the books as it was part of the final collection from Gaultier. Comprising an exaggerated chocker, embroidered corset, boyfriend jeans, and stark-white stiletto pumps, it was a moment for the movie star to prove she's just as capable of pulling off edgy attire as she is an elegant one in front of the camera.

No stranger to an archive moment, together with image architect Law Roach, her self-professed style inspiration, they brought the internet to a standstill when Zendaya stepped out in the iconic archive 'Fembot' chrome medieval suit by the late ingenious French designer Thierry Mugler for the Dune: Part Two premiere in London. The suit was a part of his AW 1995 'Cirque d'hiver' 20th-anniversary collection, which was a six-month operation to bring to fruition. Plus, the Euphoria actor plucked out a Roberto Cavalli SS11 fringed deep-V number from the archives for the Green Carpet Fashion Awards this week and slipped into a lightening Lee McQueen for Givenchy LED 'circuit board' skirt suit from the AW1999 line as part of the Dune promo. A supporter of young, British talent, how could we forget the star in Newgen designers welsh creative Paolo Carzana and the rising Nigerian-Brazilian couturier Torishéju, either?

With a mere matter of weeks before Zendaya kicks off the next chapter of her press run for the much anticipated Luca Guadagnino-directed Challengers film (releasing on April 26), starring Josh O'Connor and Mike Faist and a wardrobe replete with bespoke Loewe, we're already bracing ourselves for a roll-out – and wardrobe – packing a punch.
