The powerful, spare, darkly dramatic image released by the house today was shot by Steven Klein and bestowed with lots of emotion, in contrast to the austerity bestowed in the show, Wang explained to WWD.
Kristen McMenamy is the girl in front of the lens not that youd know, given that her face is hidden, with the focus entirely on craft, detail and texture of the clothes shown.
The clamour to be runway-side as Wangs first collection for the French fashion powerhouse was unveiled at in February was phenomenal, with ELLEs editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy hailing the edit as a powerful statement.
