This ethos is very much reflected in the expertly handcrafted shoes and accessories. There are smooth leather bags and classic white sneakers that make for on-point daily staples - but this season, the Tod’s icons are lent a modern twist thanks to the metal ‘Tod's T Timeless’ theme, a recurring motif that appears on everything from loafers to belts.
Particular highlights on our autumn wishlist include the Tod's T Timeless bag (we’re still deciding between orange or leopard print) and the Kate Gommino driving shoe, which comes in a range of sumptuous shades, from burgundy to pink, and features colour-contrast trims with a rubber pebble sole.
Don the pussy-bow blouses and envelop yourself in outerwear to feel like you’ve just stepped out of the Galleria Borghese. Or try the high, chunky heels to nail that signature sensuality. Imagining you’re enjoying an aperitivo in Capri can’t hurt either.
