Queen Elizabeth met Prince Louis today, a little more than a week after he was born. Per Metro, she took a casual, 40-minute helicopter ride from Windsor Castle to Kensington Palace to see him. Also, it's Princess Charlotte's third birthday, but it sounds like that really was not the reason for this particular visit.

The Queen reportedly got off the helicopter with a bouquet of spring flowers in hand before ducking into a car that took her to the Palace. She also stopped to wave to gathering crowds before heading off.

According to Reuters, the Queen left Prince Philip at home, as he's recuperating from a recent hip surgery. That means he likely hasn't met the newest royal bb yet.

Louis is Elizabeth's sixth great-grandchild. Charlotte and George are her cutest and sassiest great-grandchildren, respectively.
