It's hard to know what Drake was thinking when he looked through his follow list one night recently and decided to unfollow Rihanna. Was it sorrow over her Vogue interview comments about them not being friends? Was it anger that she winced at the mention of his name? Was it jealousy that she mused her current billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel was the first person that she found worth taking personal time off for? Was it heartbreak that she dissed Drake's MTV VMA Vanguard speech about her where he proclaimed his years-long love for her on live TV? Whatever it was—all of it or none of it—Drake clicked the unfollow button, and Rihanna is no longer on his Instagram follow list. Fans noticed that the AubRih ship officially sunk with just one little tap.

Rihanna doesn't follow Drake either.

This was the exact quote Rihanna said about him and the VMAs, by the way, which may or may not have been the last straw for dear Drake: 'The VMAs is such a fan-focused awards show, so having that energy around me, and knowing the people who had received the award in the past, made it feel like a big deal. Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast.'

Then, on their current relationship: 'We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.'
