24/08/2018: Zayn Malik's Sister Shares Lovely Photo Of Him And Gigi Celebrating Eid
Waliyha Malik gave the world what we wanted with some photos from her family Eid celebration. In a gallery featured on her Instagram page, the sister to Zayn posted pictures of herself with her brother and mum, Trisha Malik, as well as an adorable snap of Zayn with girlfriend Gigi.
Another photo showed the couple with Trisha, and Zayn with a boy. Wearing 'Luxury Pakistani Fashion' House Janan, both Gigi and Trisha looks fabulous in colourful tunics.
22/08/2018: Gigi Hadid Celebrates Eid With Zayn Malik And His Sister
Gigi Hadid is apparently back home in time to celebrate the Muslim festival of Eid with her boyfriend Zayn Malik and one of his three sisters Waliyha.
The supermodel has returned from her trip with UNICEF to the Jamtoli Refugee Camp in Bangaldesh. There the Victoria’s Secret star acted as an advocate for the Muslim minority Rohingya people.
Now, seemingly back in the states, she is joining with her partner’s family for the holiday.
The model shared a picture of her boyfriend and his sister on her Instagram stories, captioning it, 'Home for Eid'.
Hadid, 23, has a Muslim father, Mohammed, who was a Syrian refugee before becoming an American citizen. Similarly, ex-One Directioner Malik’s family is Muslim, and honour Eid, that is from the 21st to the 25th August this year.
Called the ‘Festival of Sacrifice’, Eid al-Adha is the second, and holier, of two Muslim holidays celebrated each year.
Last year the young couple celebrated Eid with their mothers, Yolanda and Trisha, proving it's always a family affair.
Though Gigi has not openly spoken about her religion, her younger sister Bella told Porter magazine that she has always been, 'proud to be a Muslim.' Similarly the sisters have protested together against Donald Trump's so-called 'Muslim ban' in 2017.
