One might think that winning the coveted EGOT might allow you to command a certain degree of respect for your accomplishments. However, if you're John Legend, winning an EGOT apparently just means that your wife is going to step up her Twitter and Instagram game and troll you even harder than before. And honestly, thank you Chrissy Teigen for the entertainment!
Yesterday, Chrissy came after John on their anniversary for his new role as coach on The Voice. On her Instagram story, she wrote:
"12 years ago today, I met the man of my dreams. And 5 years ago today, we got married. We have two babies and some pups and a life I am grateful to have. My everything, I love you and am so proud of the story we’ve created...But you are an asshole for releasing your @nbcthevoice news on my target launch day for real."
And today, Chrissy is back at it, trolling John not on his account, but on The Voice's OFFICIAL ACCOUNT. After @nbcthevoice shared a picture welcoming John to the team, Chrissy commented "liberal snowflake! !!!!!!! bad choice def not watching!!!!!" LOL.
And while I'm pretty sure that Chrissy will be watching, with this comment we can also assume that Chrissy will also be trolling John the whole time that she's watching, meaning that NBC should also be paying Chrissy for the season—it's only fair.
