Six months after amicably separating, Jenna Dewan has officially filed for divorce from Channing Tatum, The Blast reports.

The actress cited "irreconcilable difference" in papers filed this past Monday and is seeking to legally change her name to Jenna Dewan. Dewan also requested joint custody of their 5-year-old daughter, Everly.

The official filing comes on the heels of some dating news for the former couple. Us Weekly recently reported that Channing has been casually romancing singer Jessie J for months, while Jenna is seeing 'someone new,' though he isn't 'well known.'

Back in April, the actors announced their separation after nearly 9 years of marriage in a lengthy Instagram post.

"We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love each other, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now. There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision—just two best friends realizing it's time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible. We are still a family and will always be loving, dedicated parents to Everly. We won't be commenting beyond this, and we thank you in advance for respecting our family's privacy."
