During a rally on Friday, former President Barack Obama made rare direct comments aimed at Donald Trump and his administration. Obama was campaigning for Democrats in Milwaukee ahead of the midterm elections and called out the current president on the number of indictments this administration has faced.

"They promised to take on corruption… remember that?" Obama says to the crowd, in a clip obtained by CNN. "They have gone to Washington and just plundered away."

Obama went on to compare this administration to his own. “In Washington they have racked enough indictments to field a football team. Nobody in my administration got indicted. So, how is it that they’ve cleaned things up?”

In a report by The New York Times via People, special counsel Robert Mueller has "issued more than 100 criminal counts against 32 people and three companies in the investigation of Russia’s involvement in the 2016 presidential election."

As People points out per Vox, among the number are "four Trump advisers, 26 Russian nationals, three Russian companies, one man from California and a London-based lawyer."

In September, Obama seemingly made comments directed at Trump while delivering the eulogy at John McCain's funeral. “So much of our politics, our public life, our public discourse can seem small and mean and petty, trafficking in bombast and insults and phony controversies and manufactured outrage,” he said. “It is a politics that pretends to be brave, and tough, but in fact is born fear. John called on us to be bigger and better than that.”
