Once, a couple months ago, Ariana Grande was given her dream engagement ring by Pete Davidson. The two apparently were looking at engagement rings after their first date, and he ultimately purchased a $93,000 pear-shaped diamond ring.
As Davidson told GQ of the entire thing, "The day I met her, I was like, 'Hey, I'll marry you tomorrow.' She was calling my bluff. I sent her a picture [of engagement rings]. I was like, 'Do you like any of these?' She was like, 'Those are my favourite ones,' and I was like, 'Sick.'"
But times change, and Davidson and Grande ended their engagement just last month, realising it was too much too fast among other things. Grande returned her ring to Davidson, kept their pet pig Piggy Smallz, and released the best breakup song of 2018, "Thank U, Next." But she did offer one word of advice to those looking for their perfect ring on Instagram: "Don't."
