Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are legally single, finally, after a judge signed off on their divorce Wednesday, TMZ reports. Garner originally filed for the divorce in April 2017 after the two announced their separation in June 2015. At one point, a judge reportedly threatened to toss out the case if they didn't provide the necessary paperwork to move forward with it.

But now they've actually finalised their divorce—and they did it civilly, with no mud-slinging in the tabloids. In fact, TMZ detailed that Bennifer didn't even use a lawyer; instead, divorce attorney Laura Wasser acted as only a mediator for them. They'll split child custody.

After their divorce went through on Wednesday, the former couple got ice cream together on Thursday. Garner and Affleck were seen enjoying their treats as single friends (in the eyes of the law, at least—both have dated other people) and co-parents out in Los Angeles. How sweet!
