Jonathan Van Ness, of Queer Eye fame, is body/life/hair/sexuality/gender goals.

The 31 year-old beauty expert might ooze confidence, but he's also not foolish enough to think he has all the answers, and looks to many people for constant inspirations. Two of those people being the Duchesses of Sussex and Cambridge.

Whilst talking to the podcast Femail, he declared his love for all things British royalty.

‘What kind of American do you think I am?' he declared. 'I love the British royals!'

He also discussed how the Duchess of Sussex inspired him not to cover his freckles with makeup. Learning about Meghan’s makeup regime spurred him to take on a similar approach: 'Meghan has inspired me to always use a colour correcting BB cream and not a full foundation because I love my freckles too.'

Markle is notorious for not only her freckles, but her love of them.

The Duchess' former makeup artist, Lydia F. Sellers, previously explained to Refinery29 UK:

'Every time I'd do her makeup, she'd say, "Can we just make sure my freckles are peeking through? I don't want a ton of foundation." It was more about the amount of product that went on her skin and keeping it really fresh and dewy, rather than caking it on.'

In a 2016 interview with British TV channel Dave - which broadcasts Suits in the UK - Markle was questioned what she'd call a children's book about her.

Her response? 'The glorious adventures of freckle faced Meg,' she commented.

As for the Duchess of Cambridge, it’s her style game that has Van Ness taking notes.

‘Kate has inspired me to wear the same thing more than once,' he explained. 'You know if she can do it, I can do it.

'It really just means you're developing your sense of style and you're a practical modern woman.'

Middleton is a big fan of re-wearing her fabulous items, and most recently recycled a Jenny Packham gown she had donned six years, and three children, earlier.

Talk about sustainability goals.
