Miley Cyrus made an appearance on the Howard Stern Show today where she talked candidly about her new music, upcoming Black Mirror episode (as much as she was allowed to, anyway), and her experience with the Malibu fires. In a more personal moment, she touched briefly on her and Liam Hemsworth's relationship now. While the two have been engaged for over a year, Cyrus wouldn't really call Hemsworth her fiancé publicly. She has a different term for him.

She started telling Stern about how Hemsworth helped save all her animals before the Malibu fire stuck their house when her new term for him came up. "So actually, Liam, I’ve never loved him more for this—" she started.

"This is your boyfriend? Fiancé?" Stern cut in and ask.

"Yeah, kind of-ish," Cyrus said. "My partner, I call him my survival partner now. He thinks it’s not romantic, but I learned that it is. That is why you pair up with someone, for survival, and he was so incredible. He got all the animals out in his truck."

Hemsworth got rewarded for this, of course. "He got a lot of action for saving the animals," Cyrus quipped. "Yeah, he got a lot of action. We had to make sure he knew I was very, very grateful."

She also told Stern that the two are living in Nashville now. Generally, "we travel around together," she said, debunking the idea that the two are constantly long distance because of work. "You know, usually we live in Malibu, but right now we live in Nashville and [are] adjusting. I think the hardest thing for both of us right now is to go back. A lot of people are starting to get back to their homes, people that didn’t lose their homes, but Malibu isn’t the same for right now. The air quality, the water, he surfs everyday..."

Privately though, the two have a "really regular life," Cyrus said, then she raved about Hemsworth's culinary skills. "He’s a really amazing cook."
