The Kardashian Family's annual Christmas celebration was the place to be on Christmas Eve, as reality television's favourite family pulled out all the stops for a who's who of Hollywood (Paris Hilton, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez and ARod were all in attendance). While the gathering is usually held at Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner's home, this year's extravagant bash moved just a short distance away to Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West's home, where the couple brought the North Pole to their $60 (£47.43) million Hidden Hills mansion—including real snow for sledding.

Kim K, Kanye, North, Saint and Chicago posed in front of the 'winter wonderland Whoville,' which included a cluster of Christmas trees with white snow sprinkled all over, a photo backdrop of lights, and snowmen and trees made of fuzzy white bean bags, courtesy of celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss. To put it simply: The Christmas soiree was every bit as glamorous as you'd think. How expensive? Kim and Kanye had to cough up about $1.3 (£1) million to put the entire event together, according to People's estimate.

People enlisted Ashley Greer, who owns D.C.-based Atelier Ashley Flowers, to breakdown the costs. 'It’s unclear how much of Kim and Kanye’s three-acre property was coated in the snow,' Greer told People. 'But based on [Snow Business USA's] online pricing of bags of snow, I would estimate that if they covered just one acre including installation and removal — yes, someone does have to pick that up — you are looking at a price tag of $350,000 (£270k).'

But Kim and Kanye didn't stop there. The couple also decided to build snow mountains large enough for guests to sled down, which were created by The Trask House. Greer believes those cost about $15,000 (£11.9k). As for those fuzzy Whoville beanbags, they actually appear to be sculptures by Australian artist Kathy Temin, Greer notes.

Elsewhere in the party, there were tents with dance floors, which Greer estimates to be about $50,000 (£39.5k) each, and furniture rentals and other props that cost the hosts $30,000 (£27.3k). However, one of the most priceless parts of the evening was the intimate concert for attendees by close Kardashian friend John Legend. Kanye shared a snippet of the concert on Twitter, writing, 'Legendary Christmas.' Legend being a friend of the couple, the concert could have cost free.99 or up to $500,000 (£395k), according to Greer.
