In case you weren't already feeling self-conscious about the decisions you made at your New Year's Eve party last night (sure, maybe you WILL wear that sequin dress again!), Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid, and Blake Lively ditched the clubs and all gathered under one roof to watch the ball drop as their childhood heroes—and it looked truly magical.
'Mary Poppins, Audrey, Ariel, Ms. Frizzle, Cinderella, Gwen, Mr. Toad, Avril, Nancy Drew, Posh Spice, Rizzo, Frida Kahlo, Steve Irwin, Dorothy.. This new year we decided to dress up as our childhood heroes. Sending you all love and hope going into 2019 💗,' Swift captioned the group shot (be sure to scroll through her carousel post for more photos from the evening). Swift is dressed as Ariel (The Little Mermaid) complete with a red velvet colored wig, Lively is Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz), and Hadid is Mary Poppins (timely!).
And as evidence of a higher power, Hadid's stylist Mimi Cutrell shared this close-up shot of her Mary Poppins look and it is truly supercalifragilisticexpialidocious:
Meanwhile, Hadid's own Instagram reveals that in lieu of drinking too much champagne this NYE, everyone gathered to watch Swift's new Reputation tour special on Netflix, which dropped on the streaming platform December 31.
In tiny white writing, you can see that Hadid captioned this Instagram story (the above is a screenshot from the video she posted) 'This tour deserved to last forever!!!!!'
