Last June, Pete Davidson became the poster boy for Big Dick Energy aka "BDE," a term used to describe the quiet confidence and bravado an individual exudes when they know they have a large package. The term went viral after Ariana Grande—Pete's then-girlfriend—bragged about the comedian's penis size to a fan who was curious about the length of Ariana's "Pete" track from her album Sweetener, not his actual size.
"Like 10 inches... oh fuck ... I mean ... like a lil over a minute," she wrote on Twitter.
But now that the couple has called it quits, Pete is feeling the pressure to live up to those BDE expectations and joked about his ex's comments during a recent stand-up show.
“I don’t like that she talked all that shit for my penis,” Pete said during his stand-up set in Tarrytown, New York. “Everything is huge to her. Why would she tell everyone that I have a huge penis? So that every girl who sees my dick for the rest of my life is disappointed.”
Pete was referring to Ariana's music video for her break-up bop, "Thank U, Next," in which she made subtle references to each of her ex-boyfriends. During one scene, Ariana played Mean Girl's Regina George and began flipping through her Burn Book when she landed on Pete's page and referred to his enormous package by writing, "HUUUUUGE" next to an old photo of them.
