Hillary Clinton is said to be considering running for presidency again in 2020. The former First Lady, who was beaten by Donald Trump in the 2016 US elections, said she hasn't ruled out another presidential bid.

"Clinton is telling people that she's not closing the doors to the idea of running in 2020," said CNN's Jeff Zeleny. "I'm told by three people that as recently as this week, she was telling people that look, given all this news from the indictments, particularly the Roger Stone indictment, she talked to several people, saying 'look, I'm not closing the doors to this.'"

Zeleny added that a plan was far from concrete and very much still in its infancy stages. "It does not mean that there's a campaign-in-waiting, or a plan in the works," he added.

If Clinton were to run again, it would be an unprecedented move in the modern political era. The last presidential nominee who failed and won second time round was Richard Nixon in 1968. The 2020 race will be tough, including a number of experienced female candidates. Trump would almost doubtlessly re-highlight emails that allegedly claim the FBI's support of her.

"Most losing presidential candidates never totally close the doors to running for president," Zeleny said. "But I think we have to at least leave our mind open to the possibility that she is still talking about it. She wants to take on Trump. Could she win a Democratic primary to do it? I don't know the answer to that."
