Priyanka Chopra has responded to the recent report that she visited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's baby—Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor—for the first time. It was also claimed that Chopra arrived laden with Tiffany & Co. gifts.

Taking to Twitter, the actress made it clear that the report, which originally appeared in The Sun, was incorrect. Chopra wrote on Twitter, 'While these are great gift ideas... this story is untrue, and I was actually in town for work. I hope whoever this 'source' is starts checking their facts more often.'

Chopra disputed The Sun's report that she'd visited Meghan and baby Archie in Windsor, along with husband Nick Jonas. The newspaper reported that 'the generous pair picked out a number of baby gifts from jewellers Tiffany,' quoting a source as saying, 'They thought baby Archie was just adorable and Meg is loving her new life.'

The source continued, 'She looked fantastic and has taken to life as a mom swimmingly.'

This isn't the first time that Chopra has disputed incorrect reports about her friendship with Meghan. In March 2019, during an interview on Watch What Happens Live!, host Andy Cohen asked Chopra about rumours 'you didn't go to her baby shower because you were pissed at her.'

Chopra simply laughed and replied, 'Oh my God. No it's not true.'
