Bella Hadid and The Weeknd's exact relationship status may be up in the air right now (most outlets report they've broken up although Entertainment Tonight says they're still together and working on things), but Hadid does not want be out with her maybe ex-boyfriend, at the very least. TMZ reports that the model left Catch One nightclub just minutes after The Weeknd walked into it. She was wearing a white sweater, black denim, and a white t-shirt with hoop earrings.
Hadid had been with friends and allegedly arrived 'in great spirits,' according to TMZ. It's not known whether she and The Weeknd chatted inside at all during their brief overlap.
A source told E!, which broke the news of their second split, that Hadid and The Weeknd struggled with distance. 'They are in different places right now, physically and mentally,' its source said. 'Bella is prepping for her fashion week commitments and Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut.' That source didn't rule out the chance of them reconciling: 'They hope to get back together at one point but for now are focusing on themselves and their projects.'
Entertainment Tonight's source said essentially the same thing without calling it a breakup. '[They] are working through things like normal couples do,' the source said. 'The couple travels a lot, works a lot and that often creates tension. However, the two love one another, have lost one another in the past and want to try and make it work. Right now they are together and working on keeping it that way.'
