Emily Ratajkowski had a clear message for her red carpet audience last night.

Rather than the usual step-and-repeat in a pretty dress routine, the model and campaigner felt the need to send a stronger message, standing in solidarity with women of the Me Too movement.

At the premiere of Uncut Gems on Wednesday evening, wearing an asymmetrical dress by Hervé Léger and attending with husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, Ratajkowski lifted up her left arm to reveal a temporary tattoo that simply said: 'F*** Harvey'.

Ratajkowski's ink-protest came hours after the New York Times revealed that the disgraced former movie mogul Harvey Weinstein had reached a tentative $25 million settlement deal with more than 30 women who have accused him of sexual misconduct and assault. Weinstein has denied all allegations of non-consensual sex.

According to reporters Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey - who first broke the news of what is now widely known as the Me Too-reviving 'Harvey Weinstein scandal' - the deal would 'would not require the Hollywood producer to admit wrongdoing' and would 'bring to an end nearly every such lawsuit against him [Weinstein] and his former company'.

Ratajkowski's expletive-laden lambasting of the former producer also happened on the same day that Weinstein appeared in a New York City court for a bail hearing. Weinstein, who was seen walking with a zimmer frame for the court date, is expected to be tried in January on charges of sexual assault.

Ratajkowski is an outspoken supporter of women and survivor's rights. She was famously detained with friend Amy Schumer when they joined a demonstration in Washington last year to protest against Brett Kavanaugh's judicial appointment to the Supreme Court, following Christine Blasey Ford's public testimony, claiming she was assaulted by Kavanaugh in college.

Kavanuagh denied the allegations and was appointed to America's highest judicial arm, on Donald Trump's recommendation.
