Emily Ratajkowski has shut down rumours that she might have had lip injections while pregnant.

According to People, Ratajkowski took to her Instagram Stories on Friday to respond to comments that she might have had lip injections during her pregnancy. The model and actress was quick to shut down the rumours, and said she'd 'never had lip injections,' but wasn't 'judging folks who do.'

She continued, 'You can't even get injections when you're pregnant! ... A woman's blood volume increases 50% which is why ladies can get a little puffy in the face and lips during pregnancy.'

As for Instagram users who'd been suggesting that the Gone Girl actress had been pregnant 'forever,' Ratajkowski clapped back, 'LOL yes pregnancy lasts for 40 weeks which can definitely feel like a long time, but I announced halfway into my pregnancy and it's only been 3 months since then! Actually it's weirdly gone by very quickly to me.'

EmRata also noted that she'd seen a plethora of changes in her body throughout her pregnancy. 'Weird to have your body change so much in a matter of months," she explained, noting that she now has a "whole new appreciation for what [her] body can do and what is beautiful ... I'm gonna celebrate it on here when I feel like it.'

Ratajkowski is expecting her first baby with husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, whom she wed in New York in February 2018. The model announced her pregnancy in October 2020.
