Justin and Hailey Bieber have spoken openly about their sexual history before marriage, revealing that they've had ‘different experiences’ when it comes to physical relationships.
On Friday, the couple took part in a discussion on their Facebook Watch series, Ask Me Anything Live, and opened up for the first time about the past regrets and sex.
During the episode, the singer answered a fan question that read ‘Would you ever change anything if you could go back in time?’. He said that there are ‘probably a lot of things’ that he would change about his past but that he didn’t want to dwell on his regrets.
‘I don't regret anything because I think it makes you who you are and you learn from things,’ he told his wife and viewers. ‘If I could go back and not have to face some of the bad hurt that I went through I probably would've saved myself for marriage.’

Prior to the couple’s 2018 wedding, the 26-year-old enjoyed several high profile relationships – the most famous involving his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Her husband’s honesty prompted Hailey to speak about her own experiences of intimacy.
‘I don't know if I'd say the same, but we had different experiences with everything,’ she said. ‘I do agree with the fact that being physical with someone can make things more confusing.’
The model also gave an interview to her church Hillsong’s YouTube channel, which premiered on May 15, during which she spoke about the struggles she faced in the first few months of marriage, explaining how guilt played a big factor.
She revealed: ‘I put extra guilt on myself to be this good girl, to fill this role of being like this goody two-shoes good girl, and what I learned leading up to being married is it's just not realistic.
‘We all wish there were things we had never done, and we all wish there were decisions we didn't make and mistakes we didn't make.
The 22-year-old continued, adding that she was ‘ridden with guilt’ for a long time as a newlywed, explaining:
‘I wish I had just walked into this clean and free and clean slate but what it taught me is that it's just A, not realistic, and B, we all have guilt and we all shame for things we've done but it doesn't have to define who we are, and it didn't have to define me in my relationship.’
The ‘Stuck With U’ singer shared a screenshot of their discussion with his wife on his Instagram account with the caption: ‘Dear Hailey, as I lay here, you asleep next to me, I think to myself how did I get so blessed. You’re (sic) humility, joy and desire to grow blows me away! I am honoured to be your husband.
‘I promise to love you all the days of our lives. Good night Hailey I hope you read this in the morning and smile! You are my FOREVER.’
Last year, Justin told Vogue that he had a ‘legitimate problem with sex’ that led him to choose a period of celibacy.
‘I think sex can cause a lot of pain,’ he said. ‘Sometimes people have sex because they don’t feel good enough. Because they lack self-worth. Women do that, and guys do that.
‘I wanted to rededicate myself to God in that way because I really felt it was better for the condition of my soul. And I believe that God blessed me with Hailey as a result. There are perks. You get rewarded for good behaviour.’
