The much anticipated coronation of King Charles III is well underway in London today, with heads of state, celebrities and VIPs from all over the world in attendance, wearing their festive finest.

But aside from the excitement surrounding the event itself – which marks the first coronation in the UK for more than 70 years – the moment we've all been waiting for is the arrival of the royal family. Namely, Kate Middleton Princess of Wales, as well as her husband, William, the Prince of Wales, and their children Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and Prince George.

And the moment did not disappoint. While the nine-year-old Prince George arrived separately with his grandfather, as one of the King's pages of honour, the rest of the family made their entrance to Westminster Abbey together.

The Prince and Princess of Wales arrived wearing a formal mantle and robe, per the King's request, with Kate Middleton looking regal as ever in a stunning tiara featuring delicate, diamond-encrusted leaves. Princess Charlotte wore a matching tiara of similar design, with her hair in a low bun like her mother's.

The eight-year-old Princess also provided viewers with an incredibly touching moment upon arrival at the Abbey, as she was spotted sweetly holding the hand of her younger brother, the five-year-old Prince Louis. Be still, our beating hearts!

No doubt the young Prince Louis was rather nervous upon entering the majestic Abbey, that contained some 2000 guests for the coronation ceremony.

The brother-sister duo were seated together, between their parents, for the historic ceremony. More sweet photos have emerged of Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte whispering to each other, and excitedly pointing out details to one another.
