They’re two of Hollywood’s biggest heartthrobs of the moment, but if Austin Butler and Callum Turner hadn’t become the universal stars they are, they harbour dreams of becoming a chef and youth club worker, respectively.

The pair, who star in Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks-executive produced Masters Of The Air, recently played a game of Knowing Me, Knowing You with ELLE UK, in which they admitted their parallel universe careers.

'There's just something about the energy,' Butler said of his love of cooking. 'Like when you're at The River Café and you watch the rapport between them all. It would be challenging but I can imagine when you have a great night, it would be exciting.'

As part of the game, in which the pair were asked questions about themselves and their co-stars, they reminisced on their favourite moment of shooting the blockbuster Apple TV+ series, which was Turner becoming Butler's chaffeur in all but name.

'The one [memory] we talk about a lot was driving around in the Jeep, I enjoyed that,' Butler said.

'I was basically his chaffeur,' Turner joked.

'Yeah,' Butler agreed. 'He just drove me around in this Jeep.'

Elvis star Butler correctly guessed that his co-star Barry Keoghan was an amateur boxer before his rise to fame, while the pair were unsure of which of their co-stars had previously admitted to carrying a bottle of perfume with them wherever they go, before correctly guessing that it was Ncuti Gatwa.

'He always smells good,' Butler added.

When asked what his worst audition had ever been, Turner was clear: 'There are no bad auditions, they're only experiences. So if you feel like you have a bad experience in an audition, don't do that again.'

From who their dream duets would be with to their cast's apparent go-to favourite song, you can watch the rest of Austin Butler and Callum Turner’s Knowing Me, Knowing You video at the top of this article.
