Following the release of Prince William and Kate Middleton's adorable family Christmas card photo earlier this morning, it has been announced that Princess Charlotte is scheduled to start nursery school in London from January 2018.
Sharing the photo of the adorable foursome on Kensington Palace's Instagram page, the snap's caption included news that the two-ear-old will attend the Willcocks Nursery School, situated in Kensington, West London.
The Palace added:
'The Willcocks Nursery School has said: "We are delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte. We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January".'
On the nursery's website, Offsted (the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills) is said to have described the school as follows:
'The educational programme is outstanding. Children actively participate in activities that relate to all areas of learning. Topic themes include outings in the local community and visitors to the nursery. This enables children to gain first hand experiences that effectively consolidate their learning.'
According to the school's term dates, Princess Charlotte will be expected to make an appearance for her first day on Thursday 4 January.
The prices of The Willcox Nursery vary depending on pupils' ages and whether they attend nursery in the morning or afternoon.
The highest term cost is £3,050 for the morning school. The afternoon school costs £1,800 per term and the lunch club is £580 per term for one afternoon per week and £1740 for three afternoons during the week.
The news comes three months after Prince George attended his first day at St Thomas's Battersea school in London.
Before her first day at nursery, the little princess will be able to enjoy some quality family time with the Royal Family this festive season and will be joined by soon-to-be aunt, Meghan Markle, at Sandringham over the Christmas period.
Fortunately for the Suits actress, it won't be the first time she'll meet the royal family, having already met Queen Elizabeth II in September at Birkhall in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, with her future-in-laws Prince Charles and stepmother Camilla.
