If, like us, you don’t always have time for a daily wash and blow dry then you’ll know that day old hair can become lacklustre and greasy. Step up dry shampoo, the product that promises to absorb grease whilst refreshing and reviving your locks. But can it beat the feeling of freshly washed hair? We put the latest dry shampoos to the test to find the ones that really work, here's ELLE's pick of the best.
Bumble and Bumble

Many dry shampoos contain talc or white powder and so being brunette I was pleased to find that Bumble and Bumble offer five different shades. After trying their powder for brunettes I really loved the results – the powder didn’t show in my hair, and it instantly absorbed all the grease from my roots. You have to brush it through to get the best reffect but it made my blow dry last an extra two days. It’s fairly expensive but is a super product that I will keep to hand and continue to use between washes.
Best for: Brown or red greasy hair.
