Last night at London Collections: Men, model David Gandy announced he is launching the Blue Steel Appeal in collaboration with Red Nose Day 2013.
The British Fashion Council's Caroline Rush, Poppy Delevingne and Rankin are also backing the campaign that takes its name from Ben Stillers unforgettably pouty pose in Zoolander. So expect lots of exclusive industry contributions to the first Blue Steel event a fashion auction hosted on eBay on 7 March.
This is not Gandys only charity venture - the face of Dolce & Gabbana was also announced as the ambassador for Battersea Dogs Home last year and worked with Comic Relief on an Absolutely Fabulous sketch in 2012 that also starred Kate Moss and Stella McCartney.
We refuse to believe theres not some brilliant Red Nose Day sketch in the works for this year too last nights Blue Steel attempt was a little lacklustre Gandy must be saving himself
