Last night the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home put on the first ever dogwalk at the annual Collars and Coats Gala Ball in London's Battersea Park.
An eclectic array of canine models paraded down the red carpet with the creators of their coats and collars in tow.
Julien Macdonald, Henry Holland, and Zandra Rhodes were in attendance along with Battersea Ambassador and international supermodel David Gandy.

Batterseas handsome hounds also showcased looks from British designers Stella McCartney, Jenny Packham, Gareth Pugh, Giles Deacon and Mulberry.
Its pretty extraordinary, this is probably the most unusual red carpet Ive been on, but I love it,' David Gandy told ELLE. 'Im much happier around dogs than people sometimes!
So how different is it designing for dogs? Well, theres a four leg issue to take into account and I don't think Id put fur on a dog, that would be bad taste, said Henry Holland.
Later Paul OGrady and Amanda Holden hosted an exclusive auction of the coats and accessories and musician Jamie Cullum headlined the event.
Theres a [Stephen Jones] spaceman outfit I might just have to bid on tonight, said Gandy. They are all astounding though and Matthew Williamsons is great.
The muse for Williamsons donated dog outfit was his 'very chic' American cocker spaniel, Coco.
Olympic gold medalist Rebecca Adlington also showed her support for the charity. Im a huge dog lover, my family have 6 dogs. When we get together its mental, its pretty much like I run a dog's home.
