Obviously, we've all been there - there being knee deep in a faux-tan emergency, frantically rubbing our elbows with lemon juice and googling how dark the venue we’re going to is.

Where most of us haven’t been, however, is on the most-judged red carpet of the year, as one of the most famous people on earth, so, we should probably cut her a little slack, right?

Unsurprisingly, the 25 year-old has kept schtum about the whole affair, refraining from posting a single selfie from the fabulous evening. Until now. Using her most-followed social media platform, Gomez posted a video of herself, from Monday night, running to her car.

Taking the ridicule like a goddamn champ, she captioned the cute vid, ‘Me when I saw my pictures from MET 🤷🏽‍♀️’

Girl, we get it.
