Days after Twitter went berserk over Meghan Markle closing her own car door, the social media platform is rumbling over her apparent change of accent…again.

Back in July, the Duchess of Sussex was filmed talking to crowds in Cheshire. Many noted that the US-native's American accent seemed to have weakened, whilst greeting royal fans.

Now, the public are poring over a new clip of the former Suits star saying her California accent has further declined, to become more British-sounding.

During her appearance in the ITV documentary Queen of the World at the weekend, the 37 year-old was reunited with her Givenchy wedding gown for the first time since her royal wedding back in May.

Markle is seen gushing over the gorgeous dress, revealing previously unknown details such as the fact her 'something blue' came in the form of a hidden piece of fabric from the dress she wore for her first date with Prince Harry.

'Oh my goodness, it's amazing, isn't it?' The Duchess enthused. 'The work that they did here is just so beautiful.'

Whilst we honestly don't think her voice sounds any less American than it did in July, Twitter is going off about it. Many don't seem to like the Duchess' apparent assimilation.

Though, plenty of people are rushing to the Duchess' defence, pointing out she's a socially intelligent person, surrounded by Brits, so it's no wonder if her accent is slightly morphing to mirror those surrounding her.

Hey Meghan, we love how you talk, by the way.
