Ariana Grande and Halsey have two things in common: they're both topping the music charts right now and they both just got out of serious relationships.

Grande wrote "Thank U, Next" after her split from Pete Davidson, and the track just nabbed Grande her first number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 list. Meanwhile, Halsey's "Without Me" bumped "Thank U, Next" from the top spot on iTunes less than a month after her breakup with G-Eazy.

But don't get it twisted, there's no competitive beef between Grande and Halsey. In fact, they're apparently close enough to text each other about music, success, and...feminist uprisings.

Grande shared this screenshot from a conversation with Halsey on her Instagram stories recently—where Halsey expressed her gratitude that it's her and Grande's girl-power tracks sitting at the top of every top music chart.

"Honestly just happy it's us [right now]. The Ladies need us. Time for an uprising," Halsey wrote. "Attention world: we are no longer taking ur sh*t."

"AT ALL," Grande replied. She tagged Halsey in the post, adding a black heart emoji next to her name.

While promoting "Thank U, Next" on social media, Grande has been using black heart emojis, and even joked on Twitter that her "heart is black now" when a fan asked about the emoji choice.
