This year's Oscars has been full of ups and downs. And the winner of best actress is finally here. Huge congratulations to Olivia Colman, who won for her role in The Favourite.

Last year, at the Oscars 2018, Frances McDormand won the coveted title, for her leading role in Three Billboards.

Fittingly, McDormand took to the stage to present the award this year.

Colman thanked her children who were watching the Oscars on the television from their home.

But the actress also thanked fellow nominee Lady Gaga, who blew her kisses from her seat in the audience.
