Phoebe Dynevor On Fashion Regrets, Fan Girl Moments And The Things That Make Her Happy

Since her breakout role in Bridgerton's first series, Phoebe Dynevor has certified herself as one of Britain's most exciting acting exports, all the while fast becoming a fashion plate and the darling of the toast of Paris in her role as a Louis Vuitton ambassador.

Now, an ELLE UK digital cover star, Dynevor has stepped in front of the camera once again to play a game of 'Ask Me Anything' during which she answered questions that ran the gamut to see her revealing how she recently fan-girled over Meryl Streep and Greta Gerwig, is obsessed with Rihanna's style, and the three things that make her truly happy.

'There are three things,' she said on the matter of those happy-making endeavours. 'I'm either in the bath, reading a book or I'm baking.' Three fairly typical pursuits that show how grounded the now BAFTA-nominated actor remains.

Dynevor, 28, who is nominated for her star turn on Fair Play, also shared in the video how she is a passionate — and expert — vintage shopper, always making sure to track down a new store with every freshfilming location.

'I recently shot a film in Dublin and we found this really cool vintage store called Loot. Every time I went in I came out with stuff, especially from the men's section. The men's section had really cool jackets,' she confessed.

'Patience' she goes on to admit is crucial for when it comes to shopping pre-loved. 'This is just chaos, I give up,' was once her mindset but that's now shifted to instead enjoy the hunt of a great second-hand find. 'Then you realise it's an art form. It takes a while. Sometimes it's the things you don't expect.' In a reveal that those of us who over-shop might not be able to relate to, Dynevor admitted that she's good at filling wardrobe gaps. 'I tend to be attracted to stuff I don't already have in my closet and just see if it works.'
