When it comes to famous faces, there are some who seem untouchable and otherworldly. Then, there are those that as much as you respect their craft and body of work, you're also desperate to meet them down the pub and put the world to right over a couple of bevvies. Jodie Comer, the 30-year-old star of Killing Eve, and the new must-see movie The End We Start From, is certainly one of the latter.

So, when given the chance, we jumped at the opportunity to sit down with Comer to pose the questions we're keen to hear her answers on, ranging from her perfect day out in Liverpool to her tips for living with your parents through your twenties.

One of the first questions we asked her was if she had any fashion regrets. It's impossible to imagine someone of such sartorial stature might, but like all of us Comer had some moments in her teenage years where her now-signature elegance was usurped by sheer adolescent experimentation.

'One [fashion regret] that has sprung to mind is wearing Ugg boots [so much] to where they wore in so much they kind of dipped in at the back,' says Comer, an admission that most young women who were teens in the UK in the late Noughties might admit to, while her second regret hints at the evolution of her style. 'I have a lot of pictures from my early teens where there's lots of colourful skinny jeans trying to dress different, which I don't regret actually,' she says earnestly. 'I'm glad that my parents let me experiment and live through those years.'

As is typical for this time of year, Comer's existence is governed by awards shows on all continents and while you might anticipate that the best part about awards seasons is the glitzy parties, the couture gowns or the shoulders you might brush upon, Comer's revelation is much more humble and true to her love of her craft. When asked what her favourite thing about awards season is, Comer shares that it's being able to sit down and watch the work created by her peers. 'I love this time of year because you're able to devour all the films and watch all these incredible performances and be inspired for the next,' she adds. 'I would say the amazing work that's available to watch is the best thing about awards season.'

Admittedly, this isn't quite going to the pub with Comer. But, pour yourself a drink, press play on this video and it's not all too different a pursuit from having a conversation with the star. The next round's on us!
